At Dossett & Louis Textiles, also known as Morisco Textiles, we are dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Guatemala and other places where we are active through promoting craftsmanship in textiles and apparel. Our textiles are sourced directly from local communities, honouring the skills and traditions of indigenous populations.

Clothes and gadgets made by local (indigenous) textile designers. We export these textiles in partnership with their makers.

Art and history documentaries

Learn about the history and cultural relevancy of the cultures in Central America.

Where are your textiles sourced from?
Our textiles are sourced directly from local communities in Guatemala, where skilled artisans create each piece with care and tradition.

Do you offer custom design services?

The designs come from the locals, we merely export to locations where there is interest for these designs. If you wish to elaborate this option, contact us. 

Do you also specialise in textiles outside of Guatemala?

Yes, we are open to trade in textiles from any indigenous community all over the world. We are, at the moment, looking into textiles from the Amazigh, Middle East, Korea, Eastern Europe, Vietnam, South Asia, and various other places.

Do you offer workshop tours in Guatemala?

Not at the moment. This is a service we are considering. We will keep you updated.

Do you collaborate with fashion houses, fashion designers and other stakeholders in fashion?

We are willing to collaborate with anyone who is in line with our values. See our about page.

Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of Guatemala through our craftsmanship. 

Besides Guatemala, we aim to partner and collaborate with producers and stakeholders of traditional textile and apparel worldwide.
